12/13/09

Today, we finished the commercials and Gary watched some people. Then, for the people who didn't get to do the game, we did the game last week. Then, we went over our monologs. the whole class was crying because mine was so sad. Today was short, but I had so much fun.

12/6/09

Today, we still did our commercials. The microphone didn't work, so we went and played a game called "Monolog Feelings'. All you have to do is you bring up a monolog and cut out some feelings. Then, the other person hands you a card and you say it like that until they say " STOP ". I Had an awesome time today.

Today, we finished the commercials who didn't yet do their commercials. Then, we went over our monologs. If you don't know what "Monologs" are, their a scene with only one person talking to themselves or to the audience. My monolog is about this girl who visits her friend in the Hospital. I had a great time at The Playground

Today, we recorded our commercials. I was amazing and I felt good. it was funny because some people will forget and they would do something funny to replace it, then they will say, Student~" Oh no" Teacher~"What?" Student~"I Forgot". but, some people had really funny commercials. Then, we played "One Action and a Saying". All you have to do is get 1-4 players. Then, you say and do something and when a Grown-Up Says your number, someone does his/her and your action and saying. When the last person is left, they do ALL of the actions and sayings. I had an awesome time ant Gary's.

11/8/09

When we got in class, we watched "Behind the Scenes of Disterbia". Then, we did how we did in the Haunted House and do it on stag. My teacher said I did pretty good, but she wanted me to freak out. Well, I guess that's it so bye.

11/1/09

Today was the Haunted House. I was so scared two things happened. One, I started to cry and I couldn't do my lines. Two, my teacher showed that the people who scare you are just kids who went to the Haunted House and did their scene. But, I was so scared, Darcy let me scare other people. Even though I didn't do my scene, I would still be crying because a door ring rings when a doorbell isn't their! i also got to scare parents, kids, and some teenagers! I had an awesome time and if I do the Haunted House again, I'll be brave, maybe.

Today, we did our Halloween scene. I did a little part of Thriller. It was really weird because we had to do some crazy stuff. Then, we played a game where you do an action, then when one person asks you," What Are You Doing?", you say another action like if your hoping, you say that you're doing jumping jacks. We had tons of fun and I can't wit for the Haunted House.

Today, we did our Tongue Twisters, but it was extra credit. But, I still said it. Then, we did a rehearsal for Audition Night. I had no notes, I think. After we did that, we played "Pass the Sound and Motion". All you have to do is make a sound and motion and you have to copy it. I also heard that there is gong to be a Haunted House! I had an awesome time!

This was the first week of my ADVANCE CLASS!! My teachers are awesome and funny. Also, we had to write our commercial because Audition Night was in two weeks! I did mine on Club Penguin. It was the best day ever!

The Last Day- 9/27/09

Today is the last day, so we played lots of games. One game we played was"Game Show". It's like that family game show. Then, we played "survivor". I was the last one, so I had to say everything! Then, we had our party. We even hi-JACKed our friend named JACK. Then, we had a party. I'm going to miss my teachers. I love you guys.

Today, we got a an A. Then, we played, Pass the Clap". All you have keep passing the clap until you get it right. Then, we did a commercial. I got picked to be person 2. Then, we played,' Start Withe the Last Letter". All you have to do is one person says a word and the next person starts with the last letter. But, it has to make sense. Next week is the last week! :-(

9/13/09

Today, we got a B because a person didn't memorize the tongue twister. Then, we went to Studio C and did some people's scenes. Like I said last week, the girls were doing Monster House. I didn't get to go because gary had to go. Then, we played, "Two and One". All you need to do is to pretend to work somewhere and describe your boss like," Dude, did you know that when the boss walks, he jumps!'. Then, you have to memorize the three things if your the boss and do them. I had ons of fun, but it's going to end soon! I don't want to go!

Today, we got an A. Then, we did our scenes. I forgot my scene, so i didn't memorize it. There was alot of people who didn't memorize their scene. The boys were so memorize, it made us feel like we weren't prepared. I had a great time today.

Today, we finally got an A+!! Then, we did our scenes. I'm finally done! Then, we did our voices for Finding Nemo 2. I started to laugh, so I did it again. Then, we played a game call, "Scene". All you have to do is make a scene that describes the scene, but you don't say it. Once the person is done, they say,"Freeze". Then, we have to take the place of the person and make another scene. I had tons of fun and I can't wait to do a cool read for Monster House.I found out I'm Jenny!

8/23/09

Today, we got an A-. Then, we did our scenes. I had to do it like an audition  because my partner wasn't there. Then, we did a Voice Audition . My name was Obby Doo the 3rd. I started to laugh, so I did it again. Some of my friend's names were like Hillbilly, Cheese, and Super Star.  I had a great time over there.

We got an A+. Next, we played "Death Ball". You throw a pretend to throw a ball that causes you to die. Next, we did our scenes. It was so awesome because everyone got energy. The last thing we did was play, " Surviver". I already posted a post about that game. I had an awesome time at THE PLAYGROUND.

Today, I think we got an A-. Then, we played "Scene". All you have to do is make a scene and 1 person gives what scene do they think it looks like. Then, we did our scenes. I had notes. All I need to do is to change some beats and don't look down when your talking. I had a wonderful day today.

Today,  they didn't give us a grade, so I have no letter. Then, we worked on one person's monolog. Then, we played a game called,"Number Concentration". All you have to do is to start is with 1 and when you think it's your turn, say the next number. If someone says the number with the same number, you start all over. Then, we worked on our scenes. Everyone was cracking up, so were the teachers! Then, it was time to go. I had a wonderful time.

At Performance Night, Gary went and talked to us for a little bit. Then all of us went over our commercials or scenes. After, we practiced our slates. I was last for the commercial and slate. Then, we played, "Big Bootie". I think I taught you that game. We played until all of us were gone. Then, it was time to go to perform. I didn't even know they were agents because they were quite. Some laughed when I did my eyes. Gary talked to me and he asked me if I was nervous and I said no. Then, I went to Studio B and waited for mom. I was playing," 1 lie And 2 Truths". You say 1 lie and you say 2 truths. Each person guesses which was a lie. Then, the next person goes up. I had a blast performing.

7/26/09

Today, we did our last Tongue Twister Test. I didn't get a prize. Next, I taped, finally, my monolog. Next, we went over with some people with scenes. Their scenes are awesome. I got a scene and it's awesome, but now I have to read it with a teacher because my partner doesn't like it. The last thing we did is play, "Transporter''. someone says a place and you have to reenact the place's temp. and many other things. I had so much fun today.

Today, instead of the Weekly Tongue Twister, we did a Tongue Twister Test. Since I wasn't there last week, I didn't get the paper. So, I got one today. What you do is you read 10 tongue twisters for the fastest time. I got maybe last because like I said, I wasn't there. We did monologs next. It was my turn and it was pretty difficult because they want me to do something that I never did.  They really want me to change beats, scream my head off, act scared, and I can't because half the stuff I never do. So, I asked if I can do it next week. They were really puzzled, but because I got all those notes, I won't remember them. The last thing we did was lay "Think Outside The Box". You say something like, "oh No! I Turned Into A Mermaid!" and they have to say something AND something else like, "I Know And I'm Your Prince!".  OK, see you next time. Oh yeah, I changed my date for Preforms Night to This Friday because of my plays. Also, Faith's Preforms is on that day so I have someone that I know.

FYI- Performance Night

Performance Night is the night that the kids that made it through Audition Night and get to perform again. Performance Night has a room full of Agents and Mangers. Also, Gary. if you make it, you could get an Agent or a Manger. But, that doesn't mean you don't go back to Gary. You still go to Gary. Thank You for reading FYI.

Today, we got an A+! Next, we went over monologs. Faith went up and started crying. See was doing one about divorce. Sure enough, her family is divorced. She was very little, but she knows that they're divorced. To bad I didn't get taped because I had notes last week. Next, all of our parents went to our class and my teachers had the notes that say if we made to Performance Night. I didn't make it........ just kidding! It was the first time that everyone in Beginners Class made it! Everyone clapped and I think hugged. But, here's the problem, people are in different times. Like, Faith is on the 24 of July and I'm on the 17 of July. But, I'm still excited! OK, meet you next week. Oh yeah, School is not next week, so don't text me saying " Where's last weeks?", well, now you know. OK bye.

Sorry I haven't blogged earlier because I'm on vacation. I'm going to write about it on my other blog. Back to the subject of this blog. Today (or if you prefer Sunday), we got an A because of this boy, I'm not saying his name... that's mean. Then, we did our monologue. Remember that one post that said we we're doing monologue, we did them today. OMGosh! I was the ONLY one who memorized my monologue! Not even Faith, my friend who knows her tongue twisters in 1 minute and her monologue in like a 4 days, knew her monologue! I think she didn't want to do it, but she has next week. Next, we played "Survivor". I think I explained it a few Sundays ago. It was only the people who didn't play last week. I think that's it....... wait! You know Audition Night, I get my results this Sunday! I can't wait!

Today was Audition Night. I was so excited. First, I gave my name, my commercial, and they gave me a number. Next, I went to my studio and did my slate. After that, I went to Studio C and practiced my commercial. We played "Big Brain" when we were done. "Big Brain" is a game that whenever someone says a question, you can answer it silly or true. Next, I went to Studio E and I did my commercial, again. Then, it was time to do my commercial in front of Gary and some of the Advance Teachers. Gary gave me an awesome compliment. I knew right there that I might be in. I liked that day a lot. If I don't make it, I have three more chances. I'm excited!

Today, as always, you know what.... since you know I do my weekly tongue twister, I 'm going to just say what grade we got. Anyway, I don't know what we got, but I think we got an A. Next, we did a run through with people who haven't taped yet. Then, we did another run through with the people who already taped from the beginning. I used to turn my head when I have a moment in my commercial when I was just supposed to move my eyes. I nailed it! Then, we played "Big Bootie". It's a game where you have to remember your number. If you don't say your number in three seconds, you got to the back. Next, we went to Studio C and did run of how Audition Night is going to be. Everyone did good. The last thing we did was play "Surviver" which is a game that you have to say a line and an action and when your kicked out, a person has to jump in. Now, I have to memorize a monolog. Wish me luck!

FYI- Auditions

At Audition Night, we do our written commercial to Gary and his friends to see if we're prepared for Performs Night. Preforms Night is only if you pass Audition Night. When you do that, it's going to be Gary, Agents, and Managers. No family is aloud to come in the room and watch because they said the kids might be a little nervous. Thank you for reading FYI.

Today, as usual, we did our weekly tongue twister. Finally, we got an A+ because everyone knew it well! On June 17th is Audition Tryouts (If you want to learn more about the tryouts, check out my next post)! So, we did a practice like what it was supposed to be like. I was really nervous for my tape. But, I did pretty good. We checked out the room that we're going to perform in. We are the only Beginner Class that is doing it! This is like the greatest thing ever!

5/31/09

Today, we did our weekly tongue twister. We got another A- because some people were absent. Next, we did an interview memory game. I played the interviewer then the interviewee. We had to ask 5 questions then we created the interview scene and had to retell the answers to the audience. I did pretty good. Then, I did my Queen Mary commercial. I got to tape my commercial today. That means I'm ahead of the game! Only me and two other kids got to tape. Plus, I get to memorize a scene! Today was a long day. But, I really had fun.

Today, I did my weekly exercises and tongue twister. we finally got to an A-. After, I read my written commercial. They said that they never heard anyone do the Queen Mary. One of the Teachers said that they're going to look up the Ghosts & Legends tour. Next, we played "Slideshow". Two of us introduced our slideshow from a vacation and the other four people were each a picture in the slideshow. Some of the people played a gun, fight, and smiled. It was weird, but fun. The last thing we did was play "Listen and Do". What we had to do was 6 people had to make up a line, say it, and pick a number between 1-6, whoever is last, has to say all the lines correctly or close to it. I had so much fun today.

5/17/09

Today, I had to do my weekly exercises and tongue twister. We had an A, but we got a B+ because of this boy named Jack. Then, we played one round of " Principle Office". It was scary, but fun. After that, I did my commercial. I had to do it again because I forgot that I'm not talking to my mom, I was talking to the camera. The last thing we did was played " Taxi Driver". When it was my turn to get in the taxi I stretched my neck out and told the taxi driver "go to the hospital, I need to get my neck checked". One of my teachers said I was hysterical! I had fun this week.
